Sapa town

Situated to the Northeast of Hanoi, Sapa is well-known throughout Vietnam as "The town above clouds". As the name suggests, Sapa stands around 2000m above the sea level, hence granted by the Creator with cool and fresh weather year around. The region is also famous worldwide as one of the world's most beautiful rice terraces, reflecting the perfect blend of humans and the nature. But beside its geographical features, tourists will also be amazed by the town's ethnic diversity with more than ten mountainous tribes harmoniously living side by side in the up-and-down mountains of the Hoang Lien Son range.

Get away from the hell-like hot weather of Hanoi and explore the "Cloud-hunting" experience in Sapa! The town is an ideal spot for selfies and photos thanks to its photogenic landscapes. Tourists are also recommended to getting around nearby villages of the locals where traditions of thousand-year history are still preserved along with beautiful hand-embroidered clothes offered by little tribal girls as souvenirs.
