The ET-Pumpkin Express Train runs overnight between Hanoi and Lao Cai (for Sapa), with 14 compact, fully equipped cabins featuring air conditioning and reading lights.

Pick-up & drop-off

1. Arrive at Hanoi Train Station No. 7 Tran Quy Cap street, (see Google Maps) for check-in. Your e-ticket is exchanged for a paper ticket here.

2. Depart for Lao Cai Train Station

3. Arrive at Lao Cai Train Station

Good to know

• There is one restroom on every coach and only opens when the train runs

• You must exchange your e-ticket for a paper ticket at the station before boarding, so please arrive at the station 1 hour before departure

• Your voucher is valid only for the date and time booked

Prices & surcharges

• Ticket price does not include meals on the train but includes snacks and drinks

• Surcharge: 10% additional on Christmas, New Year, and Vietnam Holiday

• Children price: Free of charge for children under 3-year-old sharing parent’s existing berths
