Hanoi to Ninh Binh train (by Vietnam Railway)

There are 5 Reunification Express trains that run every day on Hanoi – Ninh Binh route, including SE7, SE5, SE9, SE3, and SE19. It takes about 2 hours 15 minutes to travel by train between Hanoi and Ninh Binh. Reunification Express trains serve three kinds of tickets: Soft seat, Hard seat, and Berth

Travel tip: 

• You should order a soft seat because it is comfortable and the trip is not too long to need a berth. 
• SE5 will be the best choice for those who want to eat Lunch at Ninh Binh just before checking in the hotel.

Hanoi and Ninh Binh station

• The Main station (Hanoi station) is located at 120 Le Duan street, Hanoi (please do not confuse with Hanoi station B, Tran Quy Cap street for the Train to Sapa). Map for reference
• Ninh Binh train Station: located at Hoang Hoa Tham, Nam Binh, Tp. Ninh Binh, Ninh Binh. Map for reference

Confirmation

• Voucher tickets will be sent to your email after payment is confirmed (Sample tickets: )
• The passenger needs to be present at the train station at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, show voucher tickets for boarding.

Other note

• Seat allocation: We will priority reserve window seats and arrange seats next to each other for group booking in case seats are available.
• Luggage allowance: Passengers are allowed to carry baggage that does not exceed the weight limitation of 20 kgs of adults and 10 kgs of children. The baggage must be wrapped neatly and reliably.

Cancellation policies

• More than 15 days before arrival: A refund is possible but with 10% of the total price charged as a handling fee
• 15 days to 5 days before departure date: 50% of total price will be refunded
• Within 5 days before departure date: No refund
• Passenger not showing up: No refund
