King Express train has 26 berths with deluxe and VIP cabins, accompanied by the hospitality of King express train staff. All berths are wooden-paneled, air-conditioned with individual reading lights, baggage storage. Commuters are served with a drink in the morning upon arrival to Lao Cai or Hanoi.

Ticket types

• Deluxe 4-berth tickets (4 berths in a cabin): Max 4 passengers

• Deluxe 2-berth tickets (2 berths with folded upper berth): Max 2 passengers

• Vip 2-berth cabin (2 berth cabin): Max 2 passengers

For the 4-berth cabin, you can book either shared tickets or a whole cabin (private option) (E.g. you can book a private cabin of 4 berths for your group of 1, 2, or 3 people for enjoying the privacy that no others will share your cabin)

King Express Train schedule

Lao Cai Station to Hanoi Station (21:40 – 05:30)

1. Arrive at Lao Cai Train Station (No.337 Quảng Trường ga Lào Cai Street, (Google Maps) for check-in. Your e-ticket is exchanged for a paper ticket here.

2. Depart for Hanoi Train Station.

3. Arrive at Hanoi Train Station.
