The Hanoi to Sapa limousine van is the quickest and most comfortable daytime way to travel between Hanoi's Old Quarter and Sapa town. Good to know before you book
Sapa sits at about 1,500 m and is noticeably cooler than Hanoi — bring a warm layer even in summer.
The last 38 km from Lao Cai up to Sapa is winding mountain road. If you are prone to motion sickness, choose a VIP seat in the middle of the cabin and take something for it before you set off.
Seats sell out quickly at weekends and over Vietnamese public holidays, so book a few days ahead in peak season.
There is one comfort stop at a rest area roughly halfway along the expressway.
